Welcome to the home of the New Yorker in London!
My name is Laurie Wang and I made my move across the pond to London just after graduation from Barnard College (Columbia University) in NYC.
This last minute decision to study abroad in London at LSE during my junior year in college changed everything.
I spent the year not only learning from one of the best Economics university in the world but also traveled extensively in Europe, sort of like the garden gnome in the Amelie film, with the pictures to prove it. Really. Following that, my travel bug took me to the rest of the world.
One thing led to another, I received a full-time job offer from a financial firm in London and decided that my 20s is the best time to pursue an international adventure.
Fast forward, 6 years later, I am having the time of my life in London. 🙂
This is a story of my thoughts on travels, food, career, as well as other personal life development inspirations.
I also specialise in arranging bespoke experiential itineraries for people who are traveling to London. If you are an expat, I also offer services to help you settle in. I will share tips and favourite places with you, something I wished I had when I first moved to London.
If you are a student looking to study abroad in London, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I would love to share my personal experiences with you.
